{"id":19702,"date":"2018-04-02T13:39:54","date_gmt":"2018-04-02T11:39:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vipos.edu.rs\/?p=19702"},"modified":"2018-04-05T14:36:08","modified_gmt":"2018-04-05T12:36:08","slug":"business-informatics-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/va.akademijazs.edu.rs\/index.php\/2018\/04\/02\/business-informatics-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Informatics"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Name of study programme: <strong>Business Informatics<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Field of education\/science: <strong>Social sciences and humanities<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Scientific area: <strong>Informatics and information systems<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Type of studies: <strong>Basic applied studies \/ First degree studies<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Title of qualification awarded: <strong>Bachelor of Business Informatics (applied)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Length of studies: <strong>three years \/ six semesters<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Study programme objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to provide advanced professional knowledge of theories and principles of information technology and information systems and their appreciation, critical understanding and application in business;<\/li>\n<li>to enable acquisition of professional and practical knowledge and skills in the field of information systems and technologies, as well as in the field of marketing, management and finance, necessary for successful work performance in the field of business informatics in companies, banks and other institutions;<\/li>\n<li>to familiarize students with current issues and problems of the business environment, as well as the position and roles of business informatics in this environment;<\/li>\n<li>to develop teamwork skills, as well as the skills necessary for successful communication and cooperation within a team;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To enable students to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>analyze and evaluate various concepts, models and principles of the theory and practice of business informatics,<\/li>\n<li>to solve complex business problems in the field of business informatics that can occur in the business environment;<\/li>\n<li>use state-of-the-art equipment and software tools in business informatics;<\/li>\n<li>design less complex software for business, Internet and mobile applications;<\/li>\n<li>organize, monitor and train others;<\/li>\n<li>demonstrate responsibility and adhere to ethical standards of their profession in managing complex projects;<\/li>\n<li>develop a positive attitude towards personal and professional development and lifelong learning;<\/li>\n<li>identify problems and critically assess them through the analysis of already adopted and newly proposed solutions;<\/li>\n<li>pursue further studies at master professional study programmes as well as other types and levels of study both at home and abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Upon completion of the study programme, the Business Informatics graduate will be able to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>apply the basic principles of information and communication technologies;<\/li>\n<li>use business information applications;<\/li>\n<li>collect, process, analyze and present data;<\/li>\n<li>use the Internet for business purposes in accordance with legal regulations;<\/li>\n<li>perform activities in electronic commerce, electronic banking and internet marketing;<\/li>\n<li>install and administer operating systems in local computer networks and design simpler networks;<\/li>\n<li>identify objects and relations among them in information modeling process;<\/li>\n<li>design and use databases;<\/li>\n<li>apply basic forms of data protection;<\/li>\n<li>create web presentations and publish content on the web;<\/li>\n<li>design, create and test business software applications, both classical and mobile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Business Informatics graduate will be educated and prepared to work in small and medium-sized companies and perform jobs that provide standard IT business support in various areas of business (banking, insurance, trade, marketing, tourism, etc.) and develop business applications in IT companies.
