Study programme objectives:<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to familiarize students with current issues and problems of business environment and the place and role of business informatics in it
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to enable the acquisition of professional and practical knowledge and skills in the field of information systems and technologies, as well as in marketing, management, and finance necessary for successful performance in the field of information technology in companies, banks and other institutions
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to enable students to apply business informatics in a real business environment
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to develop teamwork skills and experience, as well as communication and cooperation skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills through the analysis of specific solutions and proposals of the new ones
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to provide necessary knowledge and skills as a good basis for pursuing further studies at specialist professional study programmes and other types and levels of study at home and abroad<\/p>\n

Upon completion of the studies, the Business Informatics graduate will be able to:<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 understand the basic principles of information and communication technologies
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 manage documents and store them in different versions
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 analyze and present data
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 use the Internet for business purposes in accordance with legal regulations
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 perform tasks in the field of e-commerce, e-banking and internet marketing
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 administer and install operating systems in local area networks and design simple networks
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 identify entities and relationships, and design business information systems
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 design and implement databases
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 implement the basic forms of data protection
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 use modern technology to create web presentations and publish content on the web
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 understand, create, modify and test applications in a selected programming language and operating environment
